Strategic Guide: How to Convert Scanned Document to MS Word document
Before one can edit any scan document you must install OCR software. Don’t panic on where to get the software. It’s just a simple configuration on Microsoft Office, then scanned to TIFF, open Microsoft Document Imaging copy and
paste in Microsoft word. That’s just the simple process. This does not need Diploma in Computer before you can do. I have made things easier all the process involve

Steps

2. Click on start program >>> control panel >>> Add Or Remove Program
3. In the Currently installed programs list, click the name of the Microsoft Office edition that you installed or click Microsoft Office Word (2007 or 2003 and depending on whether you installed Word as part of Office or as an individual program), and then click Change

The Configuration Wizard opens.
Click Add or Remove Features, and then click Continue.
Under Installation Options, click the plus sign (+) next to Office Tools.
Click the arrow next to Microsoft Office Document Imaging, click Run all from my Computer, and then click Continue.

SCANNING METHOD

Scanned document in TIF format. Or if that will be difficult for you, scan the document as usual, after scanning right click on the document point your mouse to Open With select Paint.

Paint opens

Click on File then click on Save As when the dialogue box opens, type the name of the document under File name . In Save as Type Select TIF Click Save

NB. (OCR only recognize TIF document)

Now the whole process is almost through, now click on start >> All Programs go to Microsoft Office >>> Microsoft Office Tool select Microsoft Document Imaging.

Microsoft Document Imaging opens

Click on file >>> select the file you want to edit and click open Press your CTRL + A and press CTRL + C.
