Not too long after CRUTECH announced its resumption date for both new and old students when the lectures decided to undergo an indefinite strike which started from 7th January,2015.

Payment of arrears of earned allowance for march ,2011 to
December , 2013 to staff of the University totaling 1,413,846,994.03
Payment of arrears of 2014 earned allowance
Payment of economic Rent deducted from staff salaries,
Teaching Practice/Industrial supervision Allowance, Examination
Administration Allowance, unpaid
salaries and promotion arrears spanning from February 2006 to 2010 totaling
N1,363,589,702.50
This industrial action involves NASU, NAAT, and SSANU.
